As part of the University of Oregon’s Department of Earth Sciences, the Oregon Hazards Lab is committed to fostering student education and professional development. We often hire undergraduates to work as multi-hazards student field technicians. This position provides the opportunity to travel to some of the most unique and remote locations across Oregon to install, maintain, and operate monitoring systems that collect scientific data to increase public safety. We also consider applicants for non-field based positions, including students with experience in communications, computer programming, and GIS. All undergraduate positions will be posted on Handshake.
